Trusted by multinational manufacturers and growing local businesses. We work under NDA, so we describe clients by industry, not by name.
Why we started Hathigen
We spent years inside technical teams, watching good companies pay too much for software. Often the problem was not hard. The price simply carried a large development team, layers of sales and overhead that the customer never sees. Small labs went without, and large firms paid for features they never used.
Hathigen exists to change that. We are a small, founder-led team that builds what your process needs, shows you how it works, and prices the work, not the overhead. Whether you are an SME watching every ringgit or a multinational tired of rigid enterprise tools, you deserve software that fits, at a cost that makes sense.
Psychra · design optimisation
“The supplier’s design looked right. We had no way to be sure.”
A project owner received an air-handling design from their supplier, with a price to match. They suspected it was more than they needed, but challenging a supplier without evidence rarely gets far.
We ran the proposal through the Psychra engine, recalculating every air state, coil load and airflow from first principles. It showed where safety margins had been stacked on top of each other, and sized a design that still met the full specification. Because every number was traceable, the supplier could check it themselves. The project saved about 20% of its cost, and the relationship stayed friendly.
A small laboratory knew its spreadsheets were holding it back. Every commercial LIMS quote was out of reach, and each came with a fixed way of working the lab would have to bend to.
We sat with the team, learned how their samples really moved, and built a LIMS whose engine follows their process instead of forcing a fixed one on them. It cost roughly a quarter of the commercial quotes. More importantly, it works the way they do and grows with them.
“Nobody knew whether the old spreadsheet was right.”
A manufacturer relied on a very old Excel model for product decisions. It had been handed down for years, and no one could trace how a result was reached, so no one could say for sure whether it was right or wrong.
We rebuilt it as a traceable calculation app. Senior and junior engineers now look at the same clear working, see which inputs really drive the product, and know where to focus their improvements. “Where did this number come from?” finally has an answer everyone can see.
“We wanted to optimise, but DOE felt out of reach.”
An R&D team needed to optimise a process, but most of them had only a basic grasp of design of experiments, and the conventional statistics software was expensive and intimidating.
We built our DOE engine into the application they already used, with interactive guidance at every step. The team ran their own experiments with confidence. The results were validated against the standard software, at a fraction of its price.
This one started with us. Between daily tasks, emails and project deadlines, we needed one place that kept both the day and the bigger timeline in order.
Nothing we tried did both well, so we built GlassPlan and used it on our own work first. Every feature in it earned its place by helping us plan.
Years of projects left us with thousands of folders, and finding the right one could take longer than the work itself.
We built Waypoint to group, search and open any folder or link in seconds, and to find files that have been moved. If your team loses time hunting for files, we know exactly how that feels.
