Drag any file or folder from File Explorer onto Waypoint and it becomes a one-click card. Drop it straight into a group or pin it.

Quick open

Press Ctrl K to search every saved link and action from the keyboard. Enter opens; Shift+Enter shows the file in its folder.

Web, SharePoint and Teams links

Paste or drag a link, including files shared in Teams. Waypoint recognises Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PDF links and shows the right icon.

Excel register import

Import every hyperlink from an Excel or CSV register in one step, including formula links, with a preview and one-click undo.

Self-repairing links

If a file or folder moves, its card says so and lets you point it to the new location.

Does Waypoint move or copy my files?

No. Waypoint only stores links. Your files stay exactly where they are.

Can it open Office files in the desktop app instead of the browser?

Yes. For Excel, Word and PowerPoint web links you can choose the app or the browser, and remember your choice.

What happens if a file is moved?

Its card shows "Not found · Locate", so you can point it to the new location.
